Ok so I'm writing because I have to. Writing itself isn't the hard part, talking about myself is, and/or writing anything while being a perfectionist is. I know I have a warm heart, and love being there to help whenever help is needed. I know it may sound vain but I know I'm smart, although I see it more as from learning about the things in the world from a natural curiosity about how things work. I also prefer odd and eccentric things.

I've been in Colorado since 2004. About 20 years of dealing with Arizona summers seems to have conditioned me to love Colorado winters all the more. (I still get excited when it snows!)

I like to laugh. I don't care who or what I laugh about, as long as I find it amusing. I like people who can laugh at themselves and then laugh at me. People tell me that I'm really funny.

How can you describe yourself? I am who I am. Funny, quirky, intelligent, irreverent with a need for conformity at times and abundant respect for doing the right thing. Insecure at times and awfully arrogant at others. Loving, generous and good sense of humor and an infectious laugh but also judgemental with an overdeveloped sense of propriety.

I like to sing, dance, play sports, look at the stars, go to the beach, things like that. I also enjoy playing the piano and the clarinet, eating hot peppers, being a single mom, roller-skating, cooking. I enjoy reading and standing in the rain. I am known to be a lil bit forward at times, and I also speak my mind. I have a bubbly personality, and I just enjoy life. I believe that you only live once, so live as much as you can. I have a 22 month old son, that means the world to me. I like to relax and sometimes sit at home, and clean up when I need to. I am somewhat more a quiet person. I usually keep to myself. My friends think that's a bad thing, becuase of the person i used to be.

Looking for REAL people! I am beginning to think they may not exsist, but I keep looking! I absolutely love the United States and everything about it because it IS the greatest country in the world. I have a bachelor's degree in astronomy, and I'm putting it to use by serving in the Air Force even though my job has nothing to do with astronomy. It's a ton of fun, but in reality I look at dots on a computer monitor all day (but believe me it's actually much more exciting than it sounds).

Anyway, I've recently moved back to Colorado after spending a year overseas in the arctic circle living through deadly blizzards; dealing with the 24 hrs of daylight, darkness, & isolation; avoiding hungry arctic wolves hunting for musk ox; gazing in awe at the arctic hares running on their hind legs to chase away rabid arctic foxes; surviving an arial assault by an angry nesting peregrine falcon; watching glaciers morph into icebergs; climbing up onto icebergs; hearing icebergs explode; swimming in the arctic ocean; fitting work in between all of these activities; and fending off the occasional polar bear attack.

I spent most of my time in Boulder, and I'd like to get out an explore Denver a bit more. Hopefully I find some activity partners so I spend less time answering questions or taking tests (but I like doing it anyway and it's kind of fun). I feel The Code of Chivalry and Courtly Love is basic doctrine and just plain common sense; I do my best to follow this code not because I find it convenient, but because I was brought up this way.

I tend to have socially/neo-conservative views, and I'm not at all progressive, which is out of place in a town like Boulder, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at CU where I enjoyed hiking and skiing, and performed as one of the costumed mascots. I love being in Colorado with the mountains not too far away, and there's plenty to see and do in Denver. I also enjoy the occasional drive back to Boulder to walk around the old stomping grounds, but home is in Maryland where there's the ocean and plenty of seafood. My friends would describe my personality as laid back and easy going, and I've been told on more than one occasion that I'm very loyal. A few of my favorite pastimes are taking pictures, taking naps, cooking, walking on the beach and watching waves crash on the rocks (CA central coast!), going to baseball games (I heart Camden Yards, Coors Field, and AT&T Park), traveling/sight-seeing, road trips, and visiting museums (I heart Washington D.C.).

I live life to live it. I am a very chill person. And I want someone who is like that as well. I've spent a lot of time agonizing about what to say here. In the end I decided to just write. If it doesn't make sense, well then you are trying too hard. Well this is the part where I'm supposed to tell you how wonderful I am, right? Well, here you go.I like to travel, be active and meet new people. I value honesty and conviction in life. I enjoy being out with friends and family, but do not mind staying home either. I have worked hard my entire life, and this has helped me achieve my goals, and I am now ready to share those successes with someone else. People tell me that my sense of humor is dry. I definitely pay attention to the fine details of people and life. I can engage you in an intellectual conversation and debate with the best of them. Me, im a big time country girl the type that loves football and worships the rodeo. I really want to go hunting and camping, learn to go four wheeling and to ride a harley (or chopper). I have 3 dogs and i have 2 horses and my future career will take place with horses. I love to get a lil mud on the tires, and just have fun. I have a really good sence of humor and i love making people laugh I love reading and writing and singing and playing my viloin which everone says i kick ass at.. but i have been playing for 6 years so yea. I am currently writing a novel and its coming along pretty smoothly. I also love a good redneck.

I am an artist whether or not im good at it is another story. I love to break and train horses, mainly arabians, around the ages of 3-5. but i have two of my own like i said. I want to go to CSU fort collins for Equine management and Equine science, hopefully to get a bachelors degree in and then get a Masters in Business Management. I also think it would be really cool to run a Bed and Breakfast on the side, but who knows. I did have plans in my future to join the Army or Air force and become a Figher Pilot but at the time, women were not allowed to do such a thing.

Another thing. Animals are my life. No matter what kind they are. I love them to death. I love dogs horses cats and snakes and many others but those are the main ones. My animals mean more to me almost more than my own family. Its almost a tie. hehehe

Well first off my name's A.J. I'm often confused for being younger than I look. I like to do many things that revolve around romance since I dedicated my life to it: Singing, poetry, drawing, etc. People who knows me knows that I'm a caring person. I will put family, friends and even some people I don't know, health before my own. Another thing people knows me for is being a little too happy. I like to put this as being positive. I don't like to look at anything negative. Even if something does come my way I will make it into a positive situation. Lastly I'm truthful. I sometimes might become untruthful so to make sure I meditate to ease and clear my mind. I don't think a lie will get anywhere just a waste of time. So if you want to ask me something then I will tell you the truth and won't hide anything...Oh before I forget there is one thing that shocks everything since it's so unique. My eyes may look brown from afar but in a closer view they are brown, red, green, yellow and blue. Talk about seeing the rainbow in the morning, huh?

I'm very serious about music.... My friends would say I'm smart, funny and above all else, caring. They tell me that I have a big heart (kinda matches my butt, but that's what the gym's for). I love working out and I do so five to six days a week. I'm a tomboy but I clean up nicely. Sometimes I'm tough but not where it comes to children. I promise you I will cry if I hear or read about a child being hurt. This will take some reconciling with the profession I am entering, as I know I will see it.
I like to have fun but I also have big responsibilities--two--a boy and a girl who still live at home. I love them to bits but I need some adult company before the word "potty" becomes a permanent part of my personal vocabulary.
I love to laugh, especially at myself. I think I'm the only person I know who can cut my nose shaving my underarms! A friend recently offered the use of his helmet, which I think HE needs more than I do...I love to learn. Reading is a big hobby of mine. I love books about history and I collect very old watches. I find myself obsessed with the fashions of the 1920s.
I love a guy who loves children and animals, especially dogs. I just don't know who he is yet. He has to be intelligent, caring and have a sense of humor. He must love his mama! Maybe he has children. He will understand why I have a love-hate relationship with Krazy Glue. (big sigh) Now, I have to add Gorilla Glue to this list. And he must understand when I tell him he's going down with a resounding thud--I'm playful sometimes. He loves to touch and be touched (Hmm, what does THAT mean?). I would love to find someone who plays an instrument but it isn't necessary. He would feel comfortable sitting through band practice every so often and might even come to see us play.
Something about a guy who can do things with his hands is incredibly sexy--I think at this point, I'm forced to admit I have a hand fetish. Can you PLAY that thing? Let's go for a walk early Sunday morning and grab a couple of lattes. Or, let's drive to the mountains and watch the sun rise. We could go for a walk when it's snowing like crazy... Lastly, I love a man who can dance. We don't have to disco; I can't anyway, but if you can wrap your arms around me and slow dance, you get 1000 extra points.

Well about me huh... I am kind of weird. I like to work... alot. When I have time off I like to spend time outside. I like to fix things that are broke. I am really a kid at heart and try to find the fun in all things. I like to snowboard, hike, go camping. I also like to go out dancing at least once a week. I get kind of cranky when I don't get my party time. Uh what else.... I also like to spend time at home with video games and movies.

I am a huge animal lover! I am a vet tech, and share my home with 3 dogs, 7 birds, a snake, a tortoise, a guinea pig, 2 rats, and fish. Must love dogs!!

I currently work 6-7 days a week, so hard-work and dedication are important to me. (Flexible timing is also a plus.)

A perfect date for me would be staying at home, watching movies in front of the fireplace, but I do enjoy going out with friends, and the occasional party/ club.

I am a geek; I watch sci-fi, dress up for Ren Fest, and go to conventions.

I am a very easy going person. I enjoy doing most things. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because my favorite sport is on the tube every Sunday...football. I am a huge animal lover and enjoy taking my boys to the zoo. I am up for just about anything new. I laugh every day because it keeps the stresses away! I enjoy going dancing and watching movies. I watch FoodNetwork every Sunday (before football in the fall lol) and I enjoy cooking meals and consuming them probably because I like to eat food...alot. Oh...and what girl doesn't love to shop, mostly online though when I can find a good deal. I just started going to the gym with my sis-n-law cause it's easier when you have a partner to go with and we motivate each other to push through.
